Cancerians are the most sensitive of all the star signs. They are happiest in a calm stable environment with a predictable routine. They become unnerved and upset by load noises, particularly if they feel that the noise is directed at them. Calm firm correction works far better than scolding for the cancer pets.

While always apprehensive of strangers (be they other animals or people) they love their families and home. If your cancer pet has pups of her own she will make a devoted mother. If she hasn’t she will act as if she is one of yours, it is as if they are desperate to be part of a family in one form of another. This makes them a great pet if you have children of your own, your cancer pet will become their second mother.

Cancer’s love to eat sweets and have a very persuasive lovable nature; try not to let them trick you into making them fat. One last point, you will know that some dogs love water and some don’t. Cancerians do, if you have a fishpond in the yard remember that I told you so when it jumps in.
