Latest Sit stay fetch book review.

pupy dog

We are often asked which is the best dog training manual available today, in my personal opinion (an opinion shared by many) the latest version of SitStayFetch the offers the best value. Why? Because not only has it proven itself to be a very successful dog obedience training manual the latest version also offers personal help and support from a professional dog trainer should you need it.

What exactly is in the sitstayfetch dog training manual?

SitStayFetch is an unusually detailed and thorough look at, not only how to train your dog, but how to prevent and deal with the common dog behavior problems that may occur. Written by a very experienced dog trainer, you can be sure that all the tips and advice given are tried and true, and come from Daniel Stevens’ real-life experiences as a professional dog trainer.

There is an impressive range of information packed into this guide. The book starts off with advice for those who have yet to choose a puppy or dog, and offers suggestions on the best places to get one from, breed information, how to prepare your home, the first vet visit, and initial housetraining, etc. The more advanced stuff: follows, how to overcome behavioral problems (such as aggression, chewing, digging, dominance, excessive barking and separation anxiety to name a few). There is an in depth look at dog obedience commands going right through to advanced level commands, there is even a section on how to teach your dog new tricks. Mr. Stevens also gives advice on what to do if your dog has health problems such as allergies, heatstroke, fleas and so on.

Particularly Good Parts
There is a section in the book which I think all dog owners should read, it is on dog whispering, which – in case you haven’t heard of it already – is a method of dog training based on a philosophy of clear communication and mutual respect. Dog whispering is becoming increasingly well-known as a very effective and humane method for disciplining and training your dog. SitStayFetch has dedicated an entire section to dog whispering: Daniel Stevens explains the background of the technique and how to use your voice and body language to achieve quick and easy results. Step-by-set instructions are included for the common commands (sit, come, down, stay, quiet, etc).

Sitstayfetch makes interesting reading and thanks to modern technology you can now even learn to train your dog while driving your car. The publishers have recently included an audio version of the book as a bonus download which I found really useful. When you are out walking your dog its handy to be able to listen to the advice real time rather than trying to remember what you read.

Sitstayfetch comes with an impressive bunch of bonus materials; the dog training audio book is only one. The other bonuses include:
Dog Aggression - a detailed study on resolving canine aggression.
All the House Training Methods & Tricks
Dog Grooming Made Easy - how to effectively groom your dog (including information on coat care for specific breeds, dental care, and nail-clipping how-to’s)
Tips on Security Training Your Dog
And my personal favorite Unlimited access to the Members Only Dog Community

We highly recommend this dog training manual, for more information please visit the sitstayfetch publisher's website.

Remember:
You can train an older dog, but it is not as easy as training a pup. Start training your dog as soon as possible.
